Lomba lari di sekitar Pangkalan Udara Adisucipto teresebut akan dipenuhi dengan banyak rintangan, mulai dari menyusuri sungai, monkeywall hingga 26 rintangan serta memperebutkan hadiah ratusan juta rupiah. Obstacle Run yaitu lari dengan jarak 10 km sambil melewati 26 rintangan yang akan sediakan oleh Pasukan Khas TNI AU. Adapun rintangan-rintangan tersebut berupa ayunan memakai tali, memanjat tembok, melewati kayu-kayu yang didirikan, menaiki tangga, melewati jembatan yang digantung di pohon, merayap, dan melompati palang setinggi 1,8 meter, serta melewati sungai. Danlanud Adisutjipto, Marsma Pnb Ir. Bob Panggabean mengatakan, acara ini terbuka untuk masyarakat umum dan internasional dengan target peserta sebanyak orang, baik perorangan maupun tim. "Tujuannya, kami ingin sekali TNI, Polri, beserta masyarakat sipil dapat berolahraga bersama untuk memupuk persahabatan dan persatuan agar negara Indonesia semakin kuat," kata Marsma Pnb Ir. Adapun pembagian kelasnya meliputi, beregu militer dan beregu sipil, pria dan wanita perseorangan, pria dan wanita perseorangan 5 K, pria dan wanita perseorangan 10 K, dan juga kategori anak atau Kid Dash.
